The Jonathan Luke Blais Foundation advances sustainable agriculture, aquaculture, and environmental practices to improve food security, enhance nutrition, and promote community resilience by helping families establish and maintain family gardens. We empower families and small scale farmers through education, training, micro-grants, and scholarships. We collaborate with non-profit organizations and educational institutions to make a difference in our world.
Our History
The Jonathan Luke Blais Foundation was founded in April 2024 by Jonathan's family and friends to help continue the good work he began in the Philippines. Jonathan was dedicated to helping improve the lives of families, especially providing for the nutritional needs of women and children, through education about sustainable agriculture practices.

About Jonathan
Jonathan Luke Blais was the change he wanted to see in the world. He was a passionate advocate for sustainable agriculture, aquaculture, and environmental practices aimed at improving food security and enhancing community resilience. Jonathan pursued degrees in agriculture and environmental sciences from Mount Olive College and Virginia Tech, driven by his deep commitment to creating a better world. His love for adventure took him across the globe, where he witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by at-risk families, further fueling his dedication to finding solutions for food security and nutrition. His love for adventure took him to the Philippines where he developed a deep love for the people and culture. A U.S. Army Veteran, Jonathan served honorably as an infantryman, earning several accolades for his service. His joyful spirit, boundless kindness, and unwavering compassion touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Though his life was tragically cut short, Jonathan’s legacy of service, love, and dedication to making the world a better place continues to inspire all who knew him.
