The FAITH (Food Always in the Home) Garden Initiative is designed to improve food security, enhance nutrition, and promote resilience among families, particularly households with malnourished children, in establishing and maintaining sustainable home gardens.
The Tampakan FAITH (Food Always in the Home) Garden Pilot Program, is an initiative designed to improve food security, enhance nutrition, and promote resilience among families particularly households with malnourished children, in establishing and maintaining sustainable home gardens in Tampakan, South Cotabato, Republic of the Philippines.
Pilot Project Objectives:
1. Establish sustainable home gardens for 13 beneficiary families.
2. Improve the nutrition availability of beneficiary families, especially the women and young children.
3. Promote climate-adaptive and sustainable gardening techniques.
4. Create a scalable and sustainable model for future expansion to other families in the community.
5. Establish a network of model FAITH Gardens in the community.
